 Exclusive Interview with Callie.Stardoll

Hello Callie,First we want to ask you two questions about you and then move on and talk about Stardoll stuff. Through all these years that Stardoll exists there was a question always on blogs whether you are a boy or a girl. Do you want to put a closure on this?
I, Callie Stardoll am the creation of a girl from the Stardoll staff, who launched me along with the 'Ask Callie Stardoll' column in the very first version of The Stardoll Blog. Longtime Stardoll members may even remember that we published a picture of Callie in the Magazine lounging around the Stardoll HQ, reading Vogue and flashing a pair of Louboutins -- you can even see her signature strawberry red/blonde hair peeking out. So like many MeDolls -- I'm both a reflection of my maker --- and so much more.
Is the person behind Callie.Stardoll the same all these years?
As the most famous representative of Stardoll, the Editor at Large for Stardoll Magazine, the mind behind many of the Contest and Competitions and The Star Blog -- of course I have a lot of assistance, in styling my Suite, putting together outfits from Starplaza, managing my massive friends list and managing competitions. I'm like the Anna Wintour of Stardoll, I don't do it all by myself --- but it's all me, all the time!
Okay, now let's move on to Stardoll .
Is working for stardoll as fun as playing Stardoll and why?
Working and playing are different, but both fun. Of course it's pretty thrilling getting to be part of deciding what will come out on Stardoll: fashions, furniture, celebrity events etc. The best part of working at Stardoll is that playing on Stardoll is part of the job.
What do you do exactly for stardoll?
See question number two :) And then imagine even more :)
Are you reading stardoll blogs and do you like that there is a whole world of stardoll blogs?

Me and the Stardoll Staff are ALWAYS reading Stardoll Blogs out on the web -- we are consistently blown away by how much talent, ingenuity and imagination there is out there ... and how our amazing users take all things Stardoll to a whole new level of creativity.
Do you have any favorite stardoll blogs
?(...besides underneathstardoll.blogspot.com )
We do love underneath ... but another recent fave is anarchyonstardoll -- we recently (last week) worked with them on releasing a collection of clothing inspired by their site -- they even did the styling of the Starplaza windows for us!
Is fashion an important part of your life besides Stardoll (are you following trends, reading magazines etc etc)?
Fashion is key for us here at Stardoll, whether working with designers and labels -- always a thrill, attending fashion weeks, getting all the latest magazines into the office, planning the trends we will highlight every Spring and Fall -- and let me point you back towards question number one -- Vogue and Louboutins. Need I say more.
Describe us your first day in stardoll. How much stardoll changed through your time there. Is it better now than before?
Well you know Stardoll started about five years ago -- with no more than five people, who had an idea inspired by the amazing Liisa (the true fairy godiluustrator of the site) and her paperdollheaven site. Now I wasn't there right at the very beginning, but we here at the HQ have all heard the stories, some of us have even been lucky enough to meet Liisa, but from those early days things sure have changed -- and yes for the better -- and that's a better that started off super fun! but now we go out in almost 20 languages -- so we have an amazing international staff dedicated to keeping us stylish in the most global of ways, and with more illustrators, animators and fashion fanatics coming in almost every week. It's amazing.
Sometimes our blog and several others criticise stardoll in good ways and in bad ways. Do you and Stardoll accept criticism and how much do you take it under consideration?
We totally take into consideration -- and truly appreciate -- the comments and critiques, everything from raves to raspberries. it's Stardoll -- we are all in this together -- and your feedback (from blogs and comments and emails) is how we know how to make the game more fun, the fashions more focused -- our members are one of our key sources of inspiration.
Stardoll always surprises us, with new features (Party rooms), competitions (MSW)..etc Can you give us an exclusive little hint of what might come next?
Mon cher Underneathers ... Here's a few exclusive hints - keep your eyes peeled for even more Furniture and Decor stores -- if you don't know what Wabi Sabi means -- well you should and you will. Things are going to get very Once Upon a Time in November, Black Friday will be a shocker --- and, well I think I've said enough for now. it's been a thrill
Twinkle, twinkle,
