Hello, USD readers!

Yesterday, Stardoll released a new doll, Jemima Kirke, and since it is my first day here, I'll be presenting her to you.

Jemima Kirke is a British painter and actress, known for playing Jessa Johansson on the series Girls. She has also appeared in the films Tiny Furniture and Smile for the Camera.

Jemima was born in 1985, in London, England (although she was raised in New York City). Her father, Simon Kirke, was the former drummer of the rock band Free. Her mother, Lorraine Kirke, is the owner of a vintage boutique that supplied outfits for the series Sex and the City. She has two sisters, who are also involved in the arts business.

Kirke received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. She currently resides and works in Brooklyn, NY.
