World Fashion - Norway

Hello and welcome to World Fashion!

This is a (mostly) weekly article, based on fashion from around the world.

On our planet, there are hundreds of different nationalities, all with their own unique history, habits and culture. All those have resulted in an own style of fashion, depending on the nature and moral beliefs. Each week we will choose a country and discuss their unique type of fashion and how that can be effected in Stardoll.

<- This post is about Norway which lies in what we call Scandinavia north in Europe.

We got an interview with Nikiita_pazoa:

What is your country's current trend?

It's quite hard to point out one trend, but right now it's all about knittet sweaters with white shirts underneath, burgundy and basic colours and warmer clothes. It's starting to get cold in Norway and the snow and ice is starting to arrive a lot faster then I want it to so there is no point in searing high heels and short dresses.

What is your style and is it influenced?
My style depends on the season. In the spring I like pastells and summer I just love to wear lots of colour, but black is always my go to colour and what I feel most comfy in. In the fall and winter I tend to wear lots of black and basic colours just adding the it colour of the season. I love to wear short dresses with over knee stockings or tights. In the fall season it's all about minimalism and trying to stay chic even though it's raining or snowing like crazy.
I don't have one style icon but I do adore Marion Cotillard, Oliva Palermo, Gossip girl, Blake Lively and Penelope Cruz.

How's the shopping in your country?
Shopping here is ok. We have lots of stores and if you live in one of the bigger cities you have enough to choose between, but I really wish we had top shop here in norway. I mostly shop online or take a shopping trip to Gothenburg in sweden or London.

Is there something you dislike about your country's fashion?
What I dislike the most about my country's fashoin is that a lot of people blindy follow the latest trends. A lot of people doesn't seem to care about how much money they waste on clothes that doesn't fit with their body type and will be out the next season. It's better to focus on finding quality key items in basic colours ( or a colour you really love).

Thank you very much Niikita_Pazoa for answering our questions :)
