Todor Toše Proeski was a multi-genre singer, songriter and actor, known for his strong vocals. He was
popular around the Balkan area and the Eastern Europe.
Toše Proeski was born on January 25, 1981,
in Prilep, Republic of Macedonia. His career as a singer started in 1996, when he participated of a
teenagers festival called “Melfest”. He studied singing in Skopje and also in New York.
In 2004, he was chosen to represent his country in the Eurovision Song Contest. In all his career, he released seven albums (three of them are posthumous).
Proeski died in a car crash in Croatia, in 2007, at the age of 26.
