Hello readers! Are you enjoying playing on your favorite site, or you are, like me, starting to get a bit bored? I mean, yeah, there are new releases often, but I want some new features, like option to buy additional closets (like the one in main room), or arrange clothes by brand/color/type. Yeah, trading engine as well. Or how about Stardoll Academy year 2? We can only hope. But let's see what we got last week.
A really pleasant surprise came on Monday - new Transform collection.
Colors are really nice, pastel, natural tones. Just like we said we wanted. Prices? High, as usual for this store, but definitely worth spending some extra stardollars. What I dislike is eye pencils don't got just around your eye, but you can draw them on the rest of your upper face, which makes them hard to apply properly. Hoping Stardoll will fix this soon.
On Tuesday, another offer for buying membership appeared.
For a slightly less price than usual 1 month membership, you get also free starcoins and gifts inspired by Dior. The offer is okay, (though I'm not really sure why starcoins, because as it was mentioned several times, they are kinda useless), and gifts are nice, but nothing with 'wow' factor that would make me spend my money on buying it.
On Wednesday, another tribute store got released, this time it was Chrisitian Louboutin Tribute.
This time we got only shoes and bags, inspired by worldwide famous shoe designer. I really loved some of the pieces, although they look better on display. Prices are okay, ranging from 11 to 18 stardollars. There are also shopping bags, like in other tribute stores from this year.
This year too, we got a campaign inspired by biggest and the most important Islamic event - Ramadan.
Just like before, there are gondolas and each day you open one, to either answer the question correctly and get few stardollars/starcoins, or you have to search for clothing/accessory pieces and receive the items shown on pictures. It is really nice of Stardoll, thinking about all their members worldwide. And who doesn't like free gifts?
On Friday, a 'fantastic' new pet-a-porter collection arrived.
Now I know some users love decorating their suites in different themes, but seriously, 100 stardollars for virtual animal? So not worth it, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Animals are nice, cute, some even animated, but couldn't they be sold in regular stores for regular prices?
And with that I end this week's recap. Of course, we always hope next year will be better and more interesting, but for now, vote for your favorite moment of the week, or use comment section to suggest some changes Stardoll should make, maybe they'll be reading, and hear our wishes. Until next week,
~ Venus
