At the end of 2013, Stardoll released a new store, it is limited in time, not in pieces and it is called SubCouture. The pieces are inspired by Haute Couture.
Let's start with the story...
The 1st collection was released on 6 December 2013. The advertisement on our dollmails says "For collectors of rare!" as the items were in Starplaza only for 2 days!
On 27 March 2014 Stardoll posted a message saying that on the 2nd collection of SubCouture we had 2 SS only dresses that stayed on Starplaza only for 2 hours.
I personally loved that they gave us the time of the release, so this way we could do whatever we needed before come to buy the collection.
Then on the day after, 28 March 2014, the 2nd collection of SubCouture was released and like the previous one, it stayed on Starplaza only for 2 days, BUT the SS dresses stayed, like they said, only for 2 hours. The items are not limited in pieces, only in time for buy them.
On 8 August 2014 the 3rd collection of Subcouture was released and as well as the previous collections it stayed on Starplaza only for 2 days. There were some SS only items but they stayed on the store all the time, so not as "limited" as the ones on the previous collection. (I say limited because the previous SS only stayed only for 2 hours on Starplaza, ok?)
The 4th collection, inspired by Philipp Plein and Burberry, has been released on 21 November 2014 and there are 3 items for SS only: the Studded Tartan red dress, the SubCouture Glam boots and the Cropped Moto Jacket.
The 5th collection was released on 3 April 2015. This collection has items inspired by Elie Saab, Versace, Alexandre Vauthier, Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Dior, Alexis Mabille, Céline, Jeffrey Campbell, Tom Ford.
When we bought any item from this collection we received a bracelet as a gift:
The 6th collection has been released on 17 July 2015. The collection has for the first time one male outfit and there are pieces inspired by Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Chanel, John Galliano
As usual, the collection was limited in time not in pieces and there were 4 items for SS only (Zip Tall Boots, Mini Mini Dress, Subcouture Coco Bag and O Ring Belt)
The 7th collection has been released on 16 October 2015. The collection has pieces inspired by Prada, Alexander Vauthier, Dsquared2, Balmain, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Burberry Prosum, Moschino and other designers
As usual, the collection was limited in time not in pieces and there were 2 items for SS only (Fringe Biker Dress and Caged Super Platforms) and 1 for Royalty only (SubCouture Punched Purse)
And these are all the SubCouture collections until now!
