StarDesign Of The Week: Week 2

This week, the designer I have decided to feature is: midnightmonkey6
(Not only is she a talented designer, she's an talented stylist too as you can see!)

Hey Dianna! Tell us a bit about your style.
Hi! I'd say that my style changes a lot, depending on my mood, but I generally love a mix of 90s style crossed with Alexa Chung's tomboy style.

What are your influences for your designs?
My designs are mainly infuenced by well-known designers (such as Jeremy Scott, Kenzo, Moschino), but also 'underground' designers (UNIF, Lazy Oaf). Inspiration for my designs also comes from music artists and their lyrics.

Which designers do you follow outside of Stardoll?
I Love Henry Holland, I'm always excited to see a new House Of Holland collection, I just wish I could afford it! I also love designers like Jeremy Scott and Ashish.

What are your plans for the future?
I'm undecided on what I'd like to do exactly. I'd like to either be working in a magazine as a stylist, or some sort of Fashion PR. Whatever it is it will definately involve fashion, no doubt about it.

Do you have any advice for other aspiring designers?
My advice to any aspiring designers is to design stuff that reflects your own style, but also something that you can imagine people liking and buying. Whether you're designing a whole collection or just a few random items, always have a set target audience of who will wear your designs, and most importantly, don't give up!

Thanks for letting me interview you Dianna!
Thank you for the interview! I hope that my designs are a mix of everything, so everyone can enjoy and like them. I'm always designing new designs and restocking my bazaar.
