Hello everyone, my name is Milena, (Stardoll username VampireLady33), and I was chosen as new USD columnist. My column will be, as you can guess from the title, recap and analyzing new features, events, or other important things that happened during the week on Stardoll, starting from Monday.

The week started slowly, with the release of remaining 2 floors of PPQ.
This seems to be the best collection so far, with focusing on colors black and white, and dotted patterns. PPQ remains as the one of the best real brands in Stardoll stores, with top quality pieces and regularly updating of collections.

On Tuesday we got message about 50% sale at Film Theory store.
There were some really nice pieces, especially for users who like to decorate their suites and dress their dolls inspired by certain cultures, movies, stories, books, etc. The sale lasted only for few days, and clothes didn't leave the starplaza.

This week Weekly Hotbuys arrived a bit late, on Wednesday.
I am starting to like the idea of weekly hotbuys, because we get 20/25 items a month, instead of 10. Sure, they are often pricey, but Stardoll makes sure that hotbuys are top quality, and will increase in value as the time goes by. Also, old Weekly Hotbuys became available for sale, so you can try finding some pieces in case you missed them in stores.

The biggest event of this week was the announce of upcoming Starmovie Festival.
It gives chance for creative people, and ones who are good at making nice movies using starmovies feature, to express their talent, get recognized for it, and win nice prizes. There are already some videos uploaded to Stardoll's YouTube account, to give future contestants ideas on how to create their own starmovies. It seems like Stardoll is trying to motivate users to create some videos, because the movie function seemed unpopular and not used often, simply because we rather decorate sceneries, albums, and suites.

Some other things worth mentioning are:
- release of spoilers for 2nd year of Stardoll Academy
- free yellow top that everyone got, it didn't even come in shopping bag so some couldn't notice it at first
- 'new' archive clothes got released/returned to shop
