Elena Jane "Ellie" Goulding is an English singer and songwriter. She was born on December 30th, 1986, in Hereford. She is currently known worldwide, especially for her song "Lights", which has already gotten in the second place of Billboard's Hot 100 and is in the fifth place at the moment.

Ellie was the second artist to win the BBC's Sound of... poll and the Critics' Choice Award at the Brit Awards in the same year, following Adele. She has released two albums, Lights and Halcyon and one EP, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding (besides the re-release of Lights in Bright Lights).
