Free Gift for New Stardoll Members

I made a new account to find free items (different account per country) and got that email.
Apparently now you get a free gift or dress when you register.
Am I late on this?
What do you think of this offer?

I don't know how old is this but I became a Stardoll member 2 or 3 months ago and I chose the first dress cuz it's more my style, I also received a bed, makeup table, chair, plant, something like a storage furniture, something like a couch, a clock, and some pillows. New members get nice free stuff but old members got the chance to get couture tribute stuff and other cool fahion items, I'm so obsessed with vintage items!!! Since I've been on Stardoll there wasn't anything that catched my eye.

Yeah I noticed this too a few months ago when I made a new account. Its so much more than new members a few years ago got! I love the furniture they give you, and the clothes you get are nicer too!
The couch & other things have been around for about 4 months. Stardoll are really silly doing this, they should have also given these gifts to all members. They are just encouraging older members to make multiple accounts which would not tell the real total figures of stardoll members. When I joined there were 5 dresses which older members could also get. They're just being silly, every time they give out gifts to new members they should give us those gifts also for loyalty, the average lifetime of a stardoll member is 18 months (if they're lucky)after which members get bored & some either abandon or delete their accounts, they should thank us occassionally for stayng with them. From 2010 they gave out different gifts also without thinking of older members. Without us they wouldn't have those gifts to give out in the first place.
I didn't get a dress, but i joined YEARS ago, before members had 2 rooms when they joined, so I logged in one day and I had two rooms. LOL!
Correction from 2:57am above: From those 5 dresses you pick just one (blogs told me how to get that not stardoll). Everyone could get those we should have the advantage of being older members to get every new member item also.
The only thing you get for loyalty is starpoints & that ugly tree!

Actually, I think you can receive this on your old account. All you have to do is make a new account, submit your e-mail, then log out and into your old account. Then, just open up the email offering the dresses and click the one you like. It will send it to your old account, since you are currently logged on to it. Again, I'm not 100% positive because I sent a dress to my old account while creating a new one by mistake. You can check if you want; i have the sheer paisley dress in my closet (avie4eva).

Not a great fan of these dresses, but thanks for posting! Even if it's not 'new' I'm glad you are posting it- a lot of updates got missed here over the last few months and I bet quite a few of your readers didn't know about this :)
I had no idea as I only have two accounts and they were made three years ago and the other about a year ago. Thanks for posting! Not everyone wants more than one account so it could be news to others, too.
When i first joined stardoll, I only got one room. -.- new members are getting a lot more. It's unfair!

@anon 12.38 Yup they are (or at least were, I saw them in the bazaar when they first came out) :)
^--- are sellable that is, in stardollars. Don't know about ss status, but they were sellable in SD before the 'non-ss can use stardollars' change so it is possible that they are ss only?
New stardoll members get a lot more,you're right..They get all these we got too,they get stardollars,a whole outfit,one free day as ss and as it seems more gifts are added to the list..Im just wondering if old members will get anything at once..
When I signed up in 2008, the only thing I got was two rooms, a makeup-table and a bookcase. I don't I even got any clothes..
New store coming I think- it's called 'velvet orchid'. Check the new items on the startpage and they've added a dress there. There are lots of items in the spoilers- Lots of black and some pinks, some nice items

now all of the new members get awesome furniture and clothes
all I got when I joined was a drab white chair, vanity, and a shelf, with a black table.
& i got a solid black skirt, black tights, black pumps, and a plain white shirt. oh, and a solid black scarf.
that's it- now new members get all of this cool furniture and clothes! :(
it's not unfair though... I mean, it's better than not changing it at all. I just wish there was some way that stardoll's older members could get the items.

There is a glitch! When you get the "new members" email, Open another tab and log in to whatever stardoll account of yours you would want the dress in. Then, go back to the email, click the dress you want, then it appears in your suite. You don't have to be a "new member" You just have to create another account.
This annoys me so much!
When I registered, you got your makeup table and a certain amount of stardollars.
Keeps in mind Ive been a member since it was PaperdollHeaven, then in 2006 they got the rooms.

when i registered on sd i received a makeup table, that white closet or shelf thing and i don't remember anything else...it was back in the 2006
Stardoll should have more loyalty programs, or even make the starpoint system better. It takes forever to earn them, most of the stuff is ugly, and it all still costs money! The only nice things are the hair and they're few and far between. And, although they are nice, I'm expecting alot more for all the time, money, and energy to get thousands of points.
